This past weekend was mothers day weekend. We had a very relaxing couple of days. Easton and Isabelle had their 3rd weeball game and it went surprisingly well. Isabelle got up to bat and had to make sure everyone was watching. Her second at bat she swung and missed a couple then she swung, spun around and hit it the second time around. She took off running so we just left it at that. Emarie clapped for the first time. It shocked me! I was playing with her and said,"yay!!" along with clapping and she did it right back. Still no,"ma-ma," but we're working on it.
Saturday we were driving in the car and Isabelle would not be quiet(imagine that). So scott told her she needed to quit talking for a minute. She asked why and he told her that mommy and daddy needed to talk she she was talking too much. Her response,"that's nonsense!" I don't know where that girl comes up with some of the things she says. For mothers day yesterday the kids(and Scott of course) gave me a necklace with their birthstones. I LOVE it!!! Easton and Scott made me pancakes. Easton had to show Scott because he had never made them before. lol
Then we had lunch at Mimi's, then me and the kids hung out while Scott had to go to work. Easton cleaned my car for me, we went for a walk, played outside and played a little wii. I even got to go on a nice long walk when Scott got home. It was a great day!!
