Little Miss Smiley
Terrible Twos?
The other night Isabelle was helping me cook. She was up on the counter...
Me: Isabelle don't touch those. (She touches them) You touch them again I will put you down.
Isabelle: Well I can just climb back up there mommy.
Me: Then I will have to spank you.
Isabelle: Well it doesn't hurt and I can spank you.
Me: How about I put soap in your mouth for talking back?
Isabelle: I will just spit it out.
I normally wouldn't go back and forth with her but I wanted to see how far she would go.

Look Who's 1 Month
So serious!!!
I think that might be a smile...
Easton came home from school that afternoon and he was all about his baby sister. Here is him playing peek-a-boo!! I tried to explain she probably can't see that far but it didn't matter to him.
He held her for a good 45 minutes or so. I was hanging clothes, getting ready for a garage sale. Easton told me,"You know why I'm holding the baby? I don't think you can hang those clothes and hold her, so I will just hold her for you."
At one point she started fussing and he told me,"Mommy, usually when she cries that means you have to hold her but I think I can get her to stop crying this time." And he did...
When she started fussing he said,"She just wants her pussycat." He meant pacifier...Isabelle got a big kick out of that.
She fell sound asleep with a tight grip of his shirt...too cute!!!
This was the best I could do of the 3 of them.
Easton pretending to sleep with her
So sweet!!!

Easton and Braden cleaning out pumpkin
Emarie wasn't too impressed with the pumpkin carving!
Isabelle wanted NOTHING to do with it!! She doesn't mind pumpkins but once you cut them open, she's scared to death!
Grandma reading to the kids. I don't know what I would have done with out her those first 2 weeks. When we took her to the airport, it was so sad. Isabelle hugged her and said,"I'm really gonna miss you. I really just want you to stay at my house." Then Easton too said,"I'm gonna miss you grandma!" So sweet!!!A Visit From Our CA Friends
